My score: Extravert (44%) iNtuitive (12%)  Thinking (1%)  Perceiving (6%)

I am certainly a “preferred” extrovert. As part of my personal evolution I am strengthening my intuitive and thinking nature. In the past two years I believe my intuitive style has increased with self-reflection and consistency. Extroverts tend to either make people feel at ease or intimidated.

Example: Like a true extrovert I made a drastic personal decision to move abroad. As a single female with no children, transferable skills and a few friends and my life savings why not? This was pure intuition and thirst for adventure. After securing an apartment, I dove in head first. There were challenges and missteps along the way but no regrets.

Misunderstandings & Conflicts: I believe in getting the job done. “Done is better than good.” I recall a scenario with a supervisor. My team was to set up a new display for a cosmetic launch. During a slow period, we collectively opted to show initiative and set up a few hours ahead of schedule. Our supervisor came in and was completely offended by the fact that we acted independently. Rather than praise our initiative we were scolded despite the fact that it was executed correctly and ahead of schedule. I believe she wanted to claim the victory as her own.

Summary: Response: I love to travel. Adapting to a different environment is essential. I find it helps to soften my normal assertive nature when interacting with locals. My natural, direct tone can be too harsh for southerners and Europeans.
